Department of Criminal Justice Administration Scholarships
Frank Lee Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Recipient must be a resident of Tennessee and be a full-time student
- Recipient must be at least a rising junior or senior majoring in Criminal Justice Administration
- Recipient must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
- Recipient must document financial need through MTSU financial aid office
- This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded
R. B. J. Campbelle, Jr. Scholarship
Requirements:
- The applicant must be a resident of Tennessee and be a full-time student
- The applicant must be pursuing a degree in the field of Criminal Justice Administration
- The award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded
Criminal Justice Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- The applicant must be a resident of Tennessee and a full-time student
- The applicant must be pursuing a degree in the field of Criminal Justice or Criminology
- The applicant must have intent and the professional potential to pursue a career in the juvenile justice profession
- The applicant must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- The applicant must be at least a rising junior or senior in the Criminal Justice Administration undergraduate program
- This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded
Law Enforcement Scholarship
Requirements:
- Recipients must meet all requirements for admission and have been accepted and/or enrolled in Middle Tennessee State University at the time of the award
- Recipient must be a resident of the State of Tennessee and a full-time student (or part-time student currently employed as a law enforcement officer)
- Recipient must demonstrate intent and professional potential to pursue a career in law enforcement
- Recipient must be at least a rising junior or senior majoring in Criminal Justice Administration
- Recipient must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average
True Blue Ashton Thomas Forever 24 Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Recipient must be currently enrolled at MTSU and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
- Recipient must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Recipient must have served or currently serving in the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserves, or Air Force ROTC; after which any branch of military service will receive preference.
- Recipient must have demonstrated leadership and current service to the community (verified by organization).
- This award is for one year, but renewal is not precluded.
Dennis D. Powell Endowed Scholarship
Requirements:
- Have an overall minimum 2.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale at the time of the application. (Can also consider ACT/SAT score for incoming freshman).
- Have declared a MAJOR in Criminal Justice Administration.
- All entering or currently enrolled students are eligible.
- Need in the broadest sense may be considered.
- If a recipient fails to maintain the required level of academic performance or changes to a major/minor outside those specified, they shall forfeit any unpaid balance of their award.
